Trots att vi ofta jobbar datadrivet blir v\u00e5ra bed\u00f6mningar  av nya investeringar ofta subjektiva. Det beh\u00f6ver inte vara fel, men problemet \u00e4r n\u00e4r gruppen som fattar inveseringsbesluten inte representerar m\u00e5ngfalden i samh\u00e4llet. M\u00e5nga studier visar att den som liknar en sj\u00e4lv \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 den som gynnas mest av ens val. Och likna varandra kan man g\u00f6ra p\u00e5 m\u00e5nga olika s\u00e4tt: till utseendet, personlighet, v\u00e4rldssyn, utbildningsbakgrund med mera. K\u00f6n, etnicitet, hudf\u00e4rg och andra visuella mark\u00f6rer \u00e4r det man ser f\u00f6rst. Och i och med att de flesta investerare i v\u00e4st \u00e4r vita cis m\u00e4n inneb\u00e4r det att sannolikheten att andra vita cis m\u00e4n i h\u00f6gre utstr\u00e4ckning f\u00e5r tillg\u00e5ng till kapital j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med personer med \u00f6vriga perspektiv \u00e4r h\u00f6g. Att investera i det som man k\u00e4nner sig trygg med och k\u00e4nner igen kallas f\u00f6r pattern recognition.\n\nOch i och med att investerare m\u00e4ts p\u00e5 avkastningen av v\u00e5r fond \u00e4r de mer villiga att investera i personer med egenskaper som k\u00e4nns igen fr\u00e5n andra framg\u00e5ngsrika entrepren\u00f6rer. Det leder till att man ut\u00f6ver att redan skilja sig fr\u00e5n den stora massan ocks\u00e5 blir den som dessutom tar det m\u00e5nga andra anser vara h\u00f6g risk. Detta d\u00e5 det kan drabba ens avancemang i organisationen om de investeringarna inte g\u00e5r bra. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r \u00e4r det viktigt att investeringsorganisationer utbildar sig och \u00e4r medvetna om den bias som existerar.\n\nDet finns en tendens att lyfta f\u00f6retag som har lyckats bra och som har grundare som speglar branschen . Det bidrar \u00e4nnu mer till att man v\u00e4ljer bort att investera i bolag som drivs av personer som inte speglar den norm vi ser bland  de som i st\u00f6rre utstr\u00e4ckning f\u00e5r finansiering.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6f876d49 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"6f876d49\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-no\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-17fd7906\" data-id=\"17fd7906\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-834374d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"834374d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>I Sverige har vi en enorm perspektivrikedom med h\u00f6gre andel utrikes f\u00f6dda svenskar \u00e4n det finns utrikes f\u00f6dda amerikaner i landet som \u00e4r uppbyggt av just utrikes f\u00f6dda. Var femte person i Sverige \u00e4r f\u00f6dd utanf\u00f6r Sverige och var fj\u00e4rde svensk har tv\u00e5 utrikes f\u00f6dda f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrar och var tredje svensk har minst en f\u00f6r\u00e4lder f\u00f6dd i ett annat land \u00e4n Sverige. Varf\u00f6r tror du att varken n\u00e4ringslivet, kultursektorn, ideella sektorn men \u00e4ven offentlig sektor -framf\u00f6rallt i ledarpositioner, inte speglar den &#8221;m\u00e5ngfald&#8221; som finns bland oss svenskar?<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-686b1681 elementor-blockquote--skin-border elementor-blockquote--button-color-official elementor-widget elementor-widget-blockquote\" data-id=\"686b1681\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"blockquote.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"elementor-blockquote\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-blockquote__content\">\n\t\t\t\tJag tror att m\u00e5nga inte k\u00e4nner sig inte bekv\u00e4m med m\u00e4nniskor som t\u00e4nker annorlunda. Det m\u00e5 l\u00e5ta klyschigt men jag flaggar f\u00f6r jantelagen. Man ska inte vara annorlunda och st\u00e4lla sig i ledet. Vi svenskar l\u00e4gger h\u00f6g vikt vid f\u00f6rm\u00e5gan och viljan att anpassa sig till den r\u00e5dande normen och att inte sticka ut. Personer som inte f\u00f6ljer de oskrivna lagarna upplevs som obekv\u00e4ma. Vi svenskar har en ovilja att vara i det obekv\u00e4ma. Jag tycker det \u00e4r mindre s\u00e5 i vissa andra l\u00e4nder d\u00e4r olikheter \u00e4r mer v\u00e4lkomna. I ett land som \u00e4r s\u00e5 multikulturellt och perspektiviskt som Sverige, riskerar en stor del av den svenska befolkningen att bli exkluderad. Och m\u00e5nga organisationer g\u00e5r miste om perspektiv som organisationer beh\u00f6ver. De som har mest makt har ocks\u00e5 mest ansvar att se till att leda med f\u00f6red\u00f6me. Det g\u00e4ller att walk the talk. Vi beh\u00f6ver prata om diversifiering i portf\u00f6ljer kring exempelvis ocks\u00e5 icke-vita och inte enbart sett ur k\u00f6n.\n\nSen tror jag att journalister, media, politiker m\u00e5ste vara med och driva f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringen.
